Show 14: Indian Hip Hop Party Featuring Bohemia

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Hank visits with Indians of both continents ending up at a San Jose State University hip hop after party in Sunnyvale, California. Plenty of party footage with Bohemia, aka The Punjabi Rapper, whipping the crowd up into a nearly uncontrollable mad house.

P.S.  This video was removed from YouTube after over 5,000 views.  The claim via YouTube:

This is to notify you that we have removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by The Outfit Entertainment claiming that this material is infringing.

The section of this video that infringes has never been clearly explained, and to me, most of the audio is unintelligible material that no one in their right mind would care to copy, much less attempt to profit from.

So here it is.  I was invited to this event by Bohemia.  When it was his turn to perform, he was attacked on stage by the aggressive guy with the grillwork who presses his face into my camera the very moment I entered the club.  – HG

Tubular TV Show 12: Journalism Standards

Monday, April 9th, 2007

Katie discusses the Josh Wolf case from her perspective as a journalism student, writer and editor for SFSU’s [X]Press newspaper. Josh Wolf was imprisoned for over 7 months for refusing to release his videotape of a street protest turned riot to government officials, which raises questions about rights of self appointed citizen journalists. Also covered is Justin.tv, where the dude has basically signed his life away to Internet TV. Bet he can’t wait to get out of that deal.
